From a young age, I understood the significant role money plays in our lives – sometimes as a source of opportunity, other times as a burden. My journey into the world of finance wasn’t born out of fascination with numbers or markets; it was born out of necessity and empathy.
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the challenges and constraints financial struggles can impose on a family. My parents, steadfast and hardworking, did their best to provide, yet the tight grip of financial limitations was ever-present. This early exposure to financial hardship instilled in me a deep-seated resolve to break the cycle.
I didn't follow the conventional route of college education. Instead, my classroom was the real world; my textbooks were the teachings of financial titans like Warren Buffet, Eddie C. Brown, Robert F. Smith, and Dave Ramsey. Their wisdom, combined with my budding passion of business and economics, became the foundation of my financial understanding.
My journey with money wasn't just about books and learning from famous people like Warren Buffet and Dave Ramsey. A big part of my learning came from my first job at a financial institution. It was like getting a sneak peek behind the curtain of the finance world.
At this job, I got to talk to many people who were facing tough times with their money. Hearing their stories and struggles opened my eyes even more. It showed me the real problems people face every day. This experience made everything I learned even more real. It wasn't just theory; it was real life.
